Today I proudly bring you an interview I did recently with up and coming artist CLVPRO. The artist is someone you might want to keep an eye on as he has been bringing his fans plenty of new music this year. CLVPRO is now prepping his upcoming project JetiFlow which drops this month, so here is an interview with the artist as he gives us an insight on his project, how he describes his music and more. Leave your comments below and get ready for the premiere of JetiFlow.
Tian: What is your name and where are you from?
CLVPRO: I’m Clevpro from Phoenix, Arizona. Originally born and raised in Santa Clarita and Palmdale, California.
Tian: How would you describe your music?
CLVPRO: Straight forward. Mmmm, I look at my music as evolutionary with an artsy twist. I try to not sound like the next man, I rather share something I was bless with than to copy another person’s style. Just tryna show the world the true me.
Tian: Your latest project JetiFlow drops on October 29th, how long did this project take to complete?
CLVPRO: Man, it took me a while. I was in the middle of moving from California to Phoenix. It was kind of hard getting back into the zone of recording. Low key had writers block because of life issues and everything. But that’s what forced me to get back into the zone of my music.
Tian: How would you describe JetiFlow?
CLVPRO: JetiFlow is a very arty project that I put together with the help from my band mates “The Color 8” and the “Fresh N’ Up Team”. There was a point while writing JetiFlow that I didn’t really know why I wanted to continue to write music anymore. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to top one of my latest project from last year Pharaonic.
Tian: Do you have any artists featuring on the project?
CLVPRO:. I got a few features going on this one, got you (10 MP) of course, I got the Fresh N’ Up Team and the “PowerTeam” on this one. I also had a lot of help from my band “The Color 8”.
Tian: Who has production credits on the tape?
CLVPRO: There’s a lot of producers that helped me out on this one. One of my favorites is Sugar Cane Davis. He also produced third eye flow. I got my homeboy KAL from the color 8, we worked on a few tracks on the project like “eternal energy” and more…
Tian: Which artists would you like to work with in the near future?
CLVPRO: You know what, I ask myself the same question the other day. Um, I would set a project with Dizzy Wright, Chance the rapper, or even SZA just to name a few. Even if it came down to a collaboration on a project, that would be dope.
Tian: Where do you see yourself in two years music wise?
CLVPRO: Hoping to be doing a bunch of world tours. Just too be able to meet & greet new people, to see hundreds or maybe thousands of people together in one arena for the same cause would make me feel like I left a mark in music. I’d feel like I changed people’s outlook on positive music. “God gave me a talent, so I’ma use it to my fullest advantage.” That would be one milestone reached before leaving this earth.
Tian: Thank you for your time, and good luck in the future.
CLVPRO: Anytime fam, make sure yall go and cop that JetiFlow it comes out Oct 29th 2015. Continue to live in peace and light.
