Kanye West has been quiet as of late after dropping “Wolves”, “All Day” and featuring on Vic Mensa’s “U MAD” single. Ye is back with some new music, first adding his own verse to The Weeknds “When I See It” which is produced by Mr. West. The beat sounds like a Ye beat, which if you are familiar with (we hope you are) has the 808’s & Heartbreaks vibes to it. And speaking about his fourth solo album, Kanye revisits the intro to the album adding vocalist Caroline Shaw to the song. Adding her voice makes the song even better and makes me want to go back and listen to the very powerful and ground breaking album from Kanye West. No matter if we agree with his personal decisions or his thoughts, we all have to admit that Kanye still has the ear to make great music. Personally, I hope Kanye continues the new music streak and finally delivers some more news to his upcoming seventh solo album, but only time will tell what the G.O.O.D. Music leader decides to do. For now, give these two tracks a listen and hope for more music. Be Known.
