“7 Keys” is about love & disappointment. It’s pretty much when you’re at a point with someone that you just want them to leave if they aren’t going to do right by you. I think so many of us have been at a point where we want someone to simply do right & reciprocate our energy. We see the potential in them and want it to work so badly, that we don’t leave. However, when the breaking point comes, all games are set aside and it’s like, get it together or let me go. Because you know that you deserve better. You’ve given your best and it wasn’t appreciated so you don’t even want the relationship anymore. That’s the vibe of “7 Keys”. It’s so melodic and smooth however, the words are so deep. Not to mention how relatable it is. It was my first time teaming up with another songwriter. He goes by the name of Lyrik London, who is such an amazing creative. I was skeptical at first, because my music is my own way of expressing so I never understood people letting someone else write a song for them. However, he came to me asking to do a song and I know how dope he is as a person in general. Also, He knows how passionate I am, and he knows my style, so he came up with something that I could execute as if I wrote the whole thing myself. I’m so thankful I let my guard down to trust him because the collaboration birthed one of my favorite songs.
