Florida artist, Wave Prince, lands on the shores of Be Known with is new EP Xotic Flood. The three track set of sounds finds itself on all streaming platforms after the success of previous singles released by Prince, including “Wave Talk”, “Red Flag” and “Fair Play”. Xotic Flood doesn’t feature the singles previously mentioned, but the EP still has some heavy hitting bangers like the outro “Droppin Keys”.
The 24 year old brings a similar sound and flow that the late great Young Dolph brought on his records, although, the young artist isn’t one to copy others work saying “I’m just trying to sound like me” and he does just that giving listeners a taste of the lyrical trap raps on Xotic Flood. Backed by some solid production, Wave Prince rides the incoming tides gracefully throughout the EP making you wish the project was a few tracks longer as it has a total run time of 9 minutes.
With a new project on the horizon titled 6 for 6, the artist says that this EP “speaks for itself with a new wave of what is soon to come including music videos and singles”. That statement should keep anybody intrigued and on high alert for another tidal wave of dope sounds soon to be released by Wave Prince. For now stream the EP Xotic Flood below and tap in with the artist on social media. Be Known.
