Splashing on the scene here at Be Known with his “Roxanne” single, Alan Ward returns with his new EP Vintagious. The Milwaukee native delivers four new songs on the project, bringing a few different sounds when comparing to his last release “Roxanne“.

“Can’t stand Uncle Sam/but need these bands so you hear me speak/what’s that/didn’t hear a peep just the streets/nah don’t worry B/kind of nuts/little squirrel got referrals overseas” later adding “streets ain’t safe when you walking/peep both sides” on the chorus. The artist get’s deep into his feelings and shares what has him exhausted on the intro, “Tired”, setting the tone for the rest of the EP.

Vintagious isn’t short of lyricism nor truthful thoughts that are brought to ears by Alan Ward with his monotone flows over simple yet refreshing production. “What A Day” is an example of that statement bringing an out of this world sounding beat backed by the faster raps “think I’m lurkin/steady working/go check the resume/wanted out the states/what’s the crime/getting hella plays”. The tracks “Tired” and “Asshole” share a similar vibe while “Hands Please” and “What A Day” do the same. Alan Ward goes four for four from the booth, finishing the 12 minute EP at 100%.
