Super Helpful Kwame is back, back again, with his new album Metropolis Now. The 12 track album comes after his last release Letters to Fatima which he dropped about a month ago. Unlike his previous release, SHK brings along some artists to contribute to the album. With features from Sam Shields, EZLU Gang, Rich Top Gang, BrownXRecluse and The Boys, Metropolis Now also sees Kwame going solo on 9 of the 12 songs. The Brooklyn native is known for multiple releases throughout a calendar year, as well as his abstract rhymes and lyricism that are the back bone to the releases. Kwame says that Metropolis Now was inspired by Superman’s hometown, as well as 1927 Fritz Lang Sci-Fi film Metropolis, and Francis Ford Coppola Vietnam War epic Apocalypse Now. A few standouts from the album are “ScoobyDotCom Arena” produced by Marc Andre and “Ja and Zion” produced by Dee Lilly. The former Pro Era MC continues a trend of releasing some dope sounds so tap in with Metropolis Now below. Be Known.
