St. Louis rapper Nando STL released his new single โWeakdaysโ today via Nappy Boy Entertainment. The Pdub-produced track is found on Y.O.T.A, Nandoโs first project with Nappy Boy set for release in May. โWeakdaysโ is available everywhere now, watch the video HERE.
With lyrics like โImma throw a smile on and crack jokes all the way home, and then Iโll tuck my kids in and go and cry aloneโฆโ Nando shares thought-filled, internal commentary on his struggle with depression while faking happiness as he navigates lifeโs challenges. Heโs joined by his kids in the introspective visual, also released today. โWeakdaysโ is the follow-up to lead single โLoudโ, and the titular track โY.O.T.Aโ featuring T-Pain and Young Cash, all found on the forthcoming project.
Alongside his new music, Nando has been on tour with Nappy Boy Entertainment label-head, Tpain, supporting select dates across his nationwide run including Salisbury, MD on April 28th, Oneonta, NY on the 29th, with additional ongoing (unannounced) dates through mid-July.
With Y.O.TA (meaning Year of The Ape), Nando is cementing his spot among hip-hopโs new regime of newcomers.ย โThis year I wanted to do something totally different than what I’ve ever done as an artist,โ said NandoSTL. With his new label home and forthcoming body of work, Nando STL is poised to be a 2023 โArtist To Watchโ.
