Flower Boy rides into 2017 as Odd Future’s front man, Tyler, The Creator’s fourth official album. Flower Boy consists of 14 tracks with features from A$AP Rocky, Syd, Lil Wayne, Frank Ocean and Jaden Smith even makes an appear on the fully produced album by Tyler. This album brings a lot of emotion (love particularly) that Tyler has not shown much of in his older albums such as Goblin, WOLF, & Cherry Bomb. This album feels like Tyler really found himself with the writing, giving you tracks that express his love life like the songs “Where The Flower Blooms”, “See You Again”, and “911/Mr. Lonely”. Although, Tyler brings those Tyler sounding like songs with the A$AP Rocky assisted “Who Dat Boy” and “I Ain’t Got Time!”. After giving the album a listen more then just once, I believe the artist created a gem with this album, putting it at the top of my favorite Tyler, The Creator albums along with WOLF.
