FOTO is the latest album from rising New York artist who goes by the name of Kota the Friend. I just discovered Kota this year while jamming music on Spotify, and instantly I found myself head knoddin to the music he created. The lyricism behind the songs are compatible to the beats that he chooses are unique and dope. It seems as if the artist has started to get more recognition since I found him on Spotify, and that is a good thing. Kota shows that lyricism continues to live if you search for it and FOTO is an example of that. Standout tracks include “Sadona”, “Solar Return” featuring Saba and the previously released “Alkaline”. Although, the whole album is a vibe so check it out below.
