At last New York’s Super Helpful Kwame releases his highly anticipated album Hitmen & Healers. The album includes 8 new tracks for your listening pleasure, a surprise for fans who may have thought his last releases like “Afro Soul” and “In Toon” would’ve made the cut. Although they didn’t, Kwame made sure to bring more heat to the table with the album. Right from the start with the intro “Ride The Wav” you could tell Hitmen & Healers was going to be something special. Separating himself from the rest is what the artist continues to do with this album as it is a whole vibe. In Kwame’s words he says the album is “Taken straight out of the musical multiverse. With Afro-futuristic themes and diverse sonic soundscapes”. That statement is hard to disagree with when you play the set of sounds back, as you can instantly hear what he means. The Brooklyn native enlists Marc Andre, Stav Z, SteveDave4Lyfe, Khvncious and more for production on the album, as he handles the songs to himself with no features. A few standouts include “Ride The Wav”, “Nocturnal Animals in Prospect Park”, and “Carlos Dejackal”. Hitmen & Healers should be added to your playlists immediately. Go ahead and show love, press play, Be Known.
