After about three years of putting no solo material out, and after about five years since his debut mixtape 10Day dropped, Chicago’s Chance The Rapper is back with a new solid project for his fans. Chance delivers Coloring Book a project that many thought would be named “Chance 3” but new name or not, the mixtape is very interesting. With features from Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Saba, Towkio and more, Coloring Book is something different from his previous two solo projects 10Day and Acid Rap. We say different because of course Chance is more mainstream now and has the ability to get features from Hip Hop’s biggest names today, but because the project sounds like a gospel mixtape, and there is nothing wrong with that. Chance still does his thing over the body of work, beats are on point and each song is made with creativity.
