Our homie from San Antonio, Texas, released his anticipating project with Songs About Women and it sure does live up to its name. The 11 track project tells stories about some of the women that D’Shaun has came into contact with. The project carries production from various producers but mostly from D’Shaun himself. I’m very impressed with the all around sound that the whole project has, the lyrics are on point and the production is nothing but solid. Two of my favorite tracks from the tape are “Heels” and the opening track “About Women.” I can definitely hear D’Shaun getting some radio hits in his near future, and the artist is headed in the right path with Songs About Women. Every sound we hear from the artist gets better and better, and Songs About Women does not change our mind about that statement.
