Its been almost a year since we heard a new track from West Coast artist LaFrance, but today he drops off his “Seven Pounds” track for a Be Known premiere, and we must say the song is very dope. Not to sure if “Seven Pounds” will appear on the artists upcoming mixtape Compton In Mind which LaFrance has been working on since the release of his last project Come Winter back in 2013. I like what I have heard with his previous released tracks, and “Seven Pounds” is definitely added to that list. LaFrance tells a story in his tracks, and if you listen close you will understand the meaning behind his sounds. That’s the best part when you have an artist who is trying to bring back that original “Hip-Hop” sound to the industry.
