The lyricist also gives the audio a matching video to go along with it, as he taps in with Jakob Owens to direct the heartfelt song that is produced by J. Cuse & Garvm. We shouldn’t be surprised to hear another deep emotional track from the artist, as he tends to stay away from the fake and rolls with the truth, even if it comes in the form that “Maybe” does. The word maybe is defined as “a mere possibility or probability” and Mark Battles uses the word perfectly in the track, hitting on topics like going back home and helping out the community, past relationships that left him wondering if he is stupid for leaving or was it for the better because he is still growing as a human? He also speaks on whether he can raise his son better then how his father raised him, he questions if we all can “love a little better, be a little better, trust a little better”.
One thing that the artist does know is that nothing is for certain in this life. It’s all up in the air, it’s a “maybe” until you exactly know the outcome of what you question. But, we will ever know? Maybe…
