They say death comes in threes and that’s unfortunate for the Juno produced “Extendos” because the record is completely slaughtered by raps from 3 different artists. This is where I introduce you to the 3 culprits named MeRCY, Chief Tony & Rell Burgundy, who each had a hand in the destruction of the production by way of lyricism.
“Extendos” is the first single off the upcoming collaborative album Sophisticated Thuggery 2 brought to you by the duo of Chief Tony & MeRCY, who also deliver the official visual shot by JDFilmsPro. The entire track features no chorus, just a few artists who talk the talk & walk the walk. The rhymes are told with ease but are hot like a pan filled with bacon grease, while the flows are cold like a snowy winter breeze. “Extendos” seems to be the perfect tease to what both artists have in store come May 18th, as they hit the ground running with the gritty single.
The Iron Mike rapper, MeRCY, has yet to show any signs of regress in 2023 as he has already found success with solo releases which include an EP & multiple visuals. This is the first I’ve heard from Chief Tony since he connected with MeRCY for the first installment of Sophisticated Thuggery back in 2020. Tony showed how solid his flow and delivery were then, so I don’t expect nothing less from the artist when ST2 hits the net & your favorite streaming source for music very soon.
